Sludge and slag
In the steel plants have accumulated millions of tons of slag. Typically, blast furnace slag impounded in the dumps separately from steel. These waste products are used in the construction industry. When designing an additional blast furnace slag heaps removed by magnetic separation to 5% Korol'kov metal as used in steelmaking processes.
Dumping steelmaking slags contain more metal (10-15 %). In addition, the mineral part of slag is often suitable for metallurgical processes (sintering, blast furnace and foundry). If steelmaking slag is used as the working of the product is no need for additional metal recovery, and if part of the mineral used for the construction industry, the special areas arranged to extract metal.
For a complete waste of man-made deposits of metallurgical production is necessary to conduct research complex extraction of various metals from these wastes. In world practice, there are three main approaches to addressing the extraction of metals from minerals and man-made materials:
- Mechanical (grinding material removing components in accordance with their density, magnetic and other properties);
- Pyrometallurgical (roasting material separation of components by boiling temperatures and their subsequent chemical or metallurgical processing);
- Hydro (material handling solutions of acids or alkalis and transfer the extracted components in a solution, followed by extraction of the desired components by extraction or ion exchange).
Typically, these approaches are combined in practice to achieve greater efficiency and comprehensive utilization of raw materials.
Technology "EKOGRINLAYN" allow the use of sludge and waste in construction as fillers after grinding and recycling (galvanic slimes, oil sludge, blast furnace slag).
The installed capacity is 2000 tons per month.
